Objectives

The educational goal of the Occupational Health and Safety Program is to prepare students and develop their professional and personal capabilities and skills. The specific objectives of the program include:

  •  Providing, improving, and maintaining a high-quality educational program in the field of occupational health and safety through:
  • Providing students with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to analyze and develop an appropriate design for the workplace and environment.
    Consolidating the concepts of the health and safety profession among students and teaching them its ethics.
    Building, improving, and supporting high-level education through employing highly qualified faculty members, assistants, and technicians.
  • Equipping laboratories with the latest equipment, services, and educational needs to provide occupational health and safety graduates with leadership qualities and learning behavior through developing critical thinking skills to solve local occupational health and safety problems.
  •  Encourage scientific publication and active participation in conferences and professional meetings to promote professional development and research work, improve the health and safety system, and meet the community's needs.
