About the program
The Information Technology Diploma Program is a vocational initiative crafted to equip students with up today knowledge and skills in information technology, computer science, network applications, databases, and information security. It is taught in the cities of all branches of the college in Arar, Rafha and Turaif. It is a newly accredited program at the Applied College . After completion of the two-and-a-half-year study and training period, 68 credit hours, students receive an Intermediate Vocational Diploma with a professional certificate.
Objectives of the program
- Equipping students with the necessary professional knowledge and skills to undertake technical responsibilities within different organizations, ensuring the availability, stability, and security of essential technical services.
- Empowering students to evaluate organizational requirements for computer systems, applications, and networks, and seek to provide them, set them up, configure them, ensure the quality of their work, and train workers to use them efficiently.
- Providing the student with the essential skills to address the various technical issues of organizations, along with methodologies for system analysis and design, technology building, testing, and evaluation.
